NS Grease EP Li 2X is a premium multi-purpose extreme-pressure grease based on a lithium complex soap thickener and a high viscosity index mineral base oil of ISO VG 220. The complex soap structure delivers a high dropping point and holds consistency under vibration and shock loading, while the additive system provides extreme-pressure performance, oxidation resistance and protection against water washout and corrosion. It is intended for heavily loaded bearings running at elevated temperatures, where a conventional lithium grease would soften or oxidise.
Recommended for heavily loaded plain and rolling bearings operating at high temperature: continuous casting plant, vibrating screens and sieves, crushers and breakers, quarry and mining equipment, roller conveyors, kiln cars, electric motors and automotive wheel bearings. Suitable for manual application, grease guns and centralised systems. Compatible with lithium, lithium complex and calcium soap greases; not compatible with barium, clay or polyurea thickened products. Not a substitute where a molybdenum disulphide grease is specified.

High Temperature Performance
The lithium complex soap gives a dropping point far above conventional lithium greases, sustaining film integrity in continuous service to 140°C.
Mechanical Stability
Consistency is retained under prolonged vibration and shock loading, resisting softening and leakage from bearing housings.
Load Carrying Capacity
Extreme-pressure additives protect heavily loaded, slow-moving and shock-loaded bearings against wear and surface distress.
Water and Corrosion Resistance
Holds its film and resists washout in the presence of water, protecting bearing surfaces against rust and corrosion.
