Energy Spring NS SYS 305

NS SYS 305 is a BN 5, SAE 30 system oil for the crankcase and circulation systems of low-speed two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines. Its detergent and anti-oxidant additive system keeps crankcases, piston undercrowns and oil cooling galleries clean, while a measured alkaline reserve neutralises the combustion acids that leak past the piston rod stuffing box. Highly refined base oils deliver strong oxidation resistance, rapid water separation and the load-carrying capacity required where one charge also serves hydraulics, gearing and stern tubes.

Recommended for the crankcase, bearing and piston-cooling circuits of low-speed two-stroke crosshead marine diesel engines, including electronically controlled designs that draw hydraulic servo oil from the system charge. Also suitable for oil-lubricated stern tubes, turbochargers, reduction gears, deck machinery and other ancillary equipment calling for an SAE 30 oil. Not for use in trunk piston engines, which require a higher BN crankcase oil.
