Energy Spring NS GEN 312 / 412

NS GEN 312 and NS GEN 412 are medium-alkaline trunk piston engine oils for medium- and high-speed four-stroke diesel engines running on distillate fuels. A BN 12 detergent-dispersant system neutralises the acids formed when burning marine gas oil and marine diesel oil, while controlling piston deposits, ring-belt lacquer and crankcase sludge. Highly refined base oils provide strong thermal and oxidation stability together with rapid water separation, so the charge resists viscosity increase and purifies cleanly over long service periods.

Recommended for the crankcase lubrication of medium- and high-speed four-stroke trunk piston diesel engines in marine propulsion, auxiliary and stationary power service, running on MGO, MDO and other distillate fuels up to 1.0% sulphur. Also suitable for reduction gears, bearings and stern tubes where an SAE 30 or SAE 40 oil is specified. NS GEN 312 covers engines calling for SAE 30, NS GEN 412 for SAE 40.
