Energy Spring NS CALSU 2X

NS Calsu 2X is an NLGI 2 grease thickened with a calcium sulphonate complex soap on a mineral base oil of ISO VG 460. Its load-carrying capacity is built into the soap structure itself rather than supplied by sulphur-phosphorus additives, so the film holds under extreme pressure and shock without the additive depletion that limits conventional EP greases. The same carbonate structure repels water and inhibits rust, allowing the grease to keep its consistency and protect bearing surfaces in continuously wet, salt-laden and corrosive duty, at temperatures where a lithium soap has already softened.

Recommended for heavily loaded bearings working wet and hot: continuous casting and steelworks plant, paper machine press and dryer sections, cement and mineral processing, overhead and harbour cranes, conveyors and vibrating screens, and marine deck machinery, winches and offshore equipment exposed to sea water. Suitable for grease guns, centralised systems and single-point automatic lubricators. Compatible with lithium and lithium complex soap greases and with the seal materials in general industrial use.
